 A gourmet supermarket packed with luxury and imported goods with many products from Europe, US and Japan. A godsend to expatriates missing their home comforts, there are several sections dedicated to cuisine styles including an Italian aisle, with an excellent selection of dried pasta, and a US aisle with everything from Heinz sandwich pickle to Reese's peanut butter cups. There is also good fresh produce section with an excellent variety of fresh herbs and organic fruit as well as a meats and cheese counter and a bakery. The wine and spirits area has a broad selection of wines with very knowledgeable staff. You can expect to pay a premium for the excellent service and imported produce. |

Life is a small vegetarian café and deli that sells an excellent range of organic and whole-wheat foods. It imports the best organic and natural produce from across the world and places a strong emphasis on healthy living and nutrition. The wide range of salads, muffins, breads, soup, pizza, pasta and curries not only use only organic ingredients but are all natural whole foods free from additives. The eggs are also free-range and the yoghurt is made from organic soya. Even the takeaway containers, straws and bags are completely biodegradable and the furniture and fittings in the adjoining café are made from wood purchases from sustainable forests in Indonesia and China. There is also an outside catering service. All staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about nutrition. |

Oliver's has goods imported from all over the world and has excellent cheese, charcuterie, fresh meat and deli counters as well as a hot food area serving takeaway meals. The fresh meat counter has top quality meat including Wagyu beef steaks from Australia and traditional Cumberland sausages from UK. There is also an excellent range of sauces, spices and dressings as well as fresh herbs. Fresh produce is of good quality but considerably more expensive than other stores. There is also a small range of kitchen accessories including Jamie Olivier's range of cooking utensils. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak good English however, avoid the lunchtime rush during weekdays when it is crammed with office workers |

An excellent spot for a quick lunch or to pick up takeaway on your way home from work, Pop Bites is designer and restaurateur, Calvin Yeung's third outlet. The small deli and café offers a range of fresh salads, re-heatable meals, pastas and sandwiches as well as the traditional deli fare of cheese and charcuterie. There is a good selection of freshly-baked breads and cakes and a wine cellar. The deli has a seating area, a DJ and a CD listening station making it the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon. The young, funky staff will advise you on everything from the right wine to pair with your cheese to the hottest tunes to listen to at the CD listening station. |

There is a large adjoining food hall offering healthy hot meals, salads and sandwiches and a Wellness centre, which sells organic health supplements and beauty products, staffed by experts in natural and homeopathic medicine. Classified is a cheese and wine specialist attached to The Press Room restaurant. It features Asia's only temperature and humidity controlled cheese room. There is a deli counter with a huge range of international meats and condiments, exclusive gourmet brands of olive oil, honey, jam chocolate and shortbread as well as a wine selection of New World and Old World wines. Customers can choose from a wide variety of cheese and charcutterie platters to try in the attached café and enjoy an extensive range of wines by the glass. This rustic and cosy cafe also serves cold cuts, salads and sandwiches. Prices range from $50 for 100 grams of a standard English cheddar to $76 for 100 grams of the famous and unusual Stinking Bishop cheese. Staff are warm, welcoming and clearly passionate about their products.
While there is no fresh produce at these small gourmet shops, there is a good selection of luxury canned goods and wine. A well-established company, Goodwell supply products to many of Hong Kong's five-star hotels and restaurants as well as several airlines. The retail shops focus on high-end Italian and American products with a good range of specialty cooking ingredients including flavorings, essences and dried herbs and nuts. There is also an excellent selection of Italian wines. Prices are extremely competitive with a good bottle of Morettoni Rosso costing around $80. The staff are helpful and speak basic English.
Gourmet is a 15,000 square foot premium food hall selling over 20,000 different products. The store has nine specialized food zones, including counters for charcuterie, cheese, meat and poultry, fresh fish and seafood and sushi as well as a well-stocked grocery area, a bakery and a luxury deli. There is also a wine and spirits zone and five specialty food bars including the Ming Cha Tea bar and the Frupara Japanese desert bar. There is an in-store café attached to the chocolate counter where customers can relax with a cup of coffee and a pastry or a Belgian waffle as well as a "Treasures of Taiwan" counter selling seasonal products such as Kuo Yuan Ye cakes and Mo-chi glutinous rice skin. The staff are efficient and speak basic English.
A huge 34,500 square foot food hall in the basement of Pacific Place that has one of the widest selections of International luxury goods in Hong Kong. It offers speciality produce such as San Daniele ham, Sardinia mature goat cheese, extra virgin olive oil, traditional balsamic of vinegar of Modena and cantucci biscotti. There is also a small selection of air-flown fruits and vegetables, including porcini mushrooms and truffles. A wide range of Italian wines and Sicilian cassate ice-cream is also available. All three shops are decorated to resemble a traditional Italian local store. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about food and wine.
