The plush bar area, comfy leather and wicker chairs, wooden floors and intimate lighting all contribute to making this one of Lan Kwai Fong's most deservedly popular hang outs.
Post 97 has stood the test of time thanks to its cheap and cheerful food. As big on taste as they are on their huge serving dishes, Post 97 boasts an extensive menu offering a range of snacks, appetisers, salads and mains, as well as a tempting array of desserts, ensuring that there is something to please even the most fussy of palates. The mixed salad is a whopper of a starter, the fresh Mediterranean mix of leaves, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, feta and avocado a real treat even for the least salad-inclined. For a more decadent start to a meal, the deep-fried camembert with raspberry sauce is great to share. The pan-fried halibut with asparagus risotto is tender and delicately fragranced. The lamb shank with mash, crisp veggies and red wine sauce is also a hit — a real comfort food staple with the meat literally falling off the bone. The sticky toffee pudding is disappointingly a little dry but the range of XTC gelato makes up for it.
