Given the magnificent view of signature dishes Victoria Harbour — along with low interior lighting, a high ceiling and comfortable spacious seating — diners are set up for wonderful meal.
Food
A diverse menu of Italian cuisine using the freshest ingredients – from pastas to pizzas to charcoal grills and seafood. Starting off with different types of bread, aged ham and cheese, the exquisite preparation of all servings is at once apparent. Oysters are a great way to commence a meal, as H One serves fresh imports from France, Australia and the United States. These also go well with the signature Tuscany seafood soup with herbed garlic bread. Next, ask for the charcoal-grilled Italian scallops with spicy salami, garden greens and shallot vinaigrette. Lightly grilled to perfection, the interior flesh of the scallop remains juicy and tasteful, complementing the spiciness of the salami and bringing out a unique mix of flavours. Moving on to the main course, a choice between the lamb chops marinated in garlic, mint, thyme and fennel seeds, and the rib eye of beef, gives diners a good variation from the light seafood-based starters. Both meat choices are amazingly tender, yet the charcoal grill does not overpower the natural juicy mutton or beef taste. Desserts are all very good, especially pineapple and raspberry ravioli.

The atmosphere here is warm and relaxing, the perfect place for either a romantic meal or even business dinners, and the view of the harbour from the picture windows are stunning, so book one of the corner tables next to the window. The only drawback is that the seating seemed a little crowded - I would have preferred a bit more space away from my neighbours.
I tried the set tasting menu, and all of the dishes were perfectly done, with just the right balance of flavours. The wait staff, were especially friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.
The chefs degustation menu was very nice. I went there 2 times in 1 week and overall had 10 different dishes. He executed his food and taste very well and match it with the right ingredients. This is one of my good restaurants in Hong Kong. When i come back, i will be back again.
